Exploring the Impact of Generative AI on Computer Science Education: New Study Accepted at IEEE FIE 2024
Our research delves into the public's perspectives gathered from social media platforms, utilizing advanced machine learning techniques to analyze sentiments and thematic concerns related to GAI. The findings reveal a predominantly positive reception towards GAI's integration into educational settings, highlighting benefits such as personalized learning and automated grading. However, the study also brings to light critical concerns, including issues of academic dishonesty, potential biases, and the possible displacement of human instructors.
I look forward to sharing our findings and engaging in valuable discussions at the conference, contributing to the broader conversation on how best to harness AI in education for the benefit of both students and educators. [Abstract]
